Activities to Honor Her Majesty Queen Rambhai Barni,

the Queen in the reign of King Rama VII

The 120th Anniversary of Her Majesty’s Birth

The 100th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Queen as “Queen of Democracy”

Activity 1: Renovate the Prajadhipok 2499 Building

Her Majesty Queen Rambhai Barni graciously granted a surgical building to Phra Pokklao Hospital, naming it the “Prachathipok Building”. This building, currently known as the Prachathipok 2499, features the royal insignia of His Majesty King Prachathipok Sakdidej, which is displayed on the building. Additionally, a statue of His Majesty King Phra Pokklao has been placed at the front of this building.

In remembrance of the royal benevolence that Her Majesty has extended to Phra Pokklao Hospital and Chanthaburi Province in the fields of medicine and public health, Phra Pokklao Hospital therefore proposes to renovate the Prajadhipok 2499 Building to serve as a source of historical knowledge, a site for study visits, and a multipurpose meeting room. This is intended to honor His Majesty King Phra Pokklao and Her Majesty Queen Rambhai Barni, as well as to express loyalty to the institution of the monarchy.

Activity 2: Creating commemorative shirts for the 120th anniversary of Her Majesty's birth

To commemorate the 120th anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Ramphai Barni’s birth and to honor Her Majesty's graciousness towards the people of Chanthaburi and Phra Pokklao Hospital in the field of medicine and public health, as well as to express loyalty to the institution of the monarchy.

There are 2,7000 pink souvenir shirts which are the colors associated with Her Majesty's birthday. Each shirt is priced at 250 baht, totaling 675,000 baht (six hundred and seventy-five thousand baht).
